It's A Beautiful Morning

Rehearsal and dinner after--not too bad. The church was lovely and there was a really great vantage point for pics without being "on display" for everyone.(1) Dinner after was a cook-out at the home of one of the bride's brothers. Great food. The only downer was that my friend (matron of honor) didn't like the girlfriend of her brother-in-law. So she snarked at her all evening.
Saturday morning, as I was trying to get ready, I go to the bedroom after my shower and there was a bat. In my house. Flying around. Now ordinarily I'm a pretty resourceful girl, but when I tried to capture him, he flapped up into my face and at that point, I was done! So I got dressed, called my friend's husband for "removal services"(2) and left for the wedding.
Wedding was very nice, photos went smoothly and I shot 9 rolls of 24. Hopefully they will be pleased with them. The groom's brother was hilarious and I got a big kick out of him. But as my luck goes, he's married. Figures.
Yesterday, my mom came down from Pgh and we worked on some little stuff around my house. It was a lot of fun. And we got a lot accomplished. I just need someone to keep me company when I'm working, I get so much more done.

(1) In regards Hawaii's comment, yes all brides are particular, but this one was more so than any other I've worked with. Among other things, she wanted to assign seats for the guests in the church (didn't work by the way). But it all went very well.
(2) No bats were harmed in the removal service--he was captured in a fish net and released outside in my yard.
