20 Things You Don’t Know About Me
1. I have two tattoos-a rose on one ankle and a one-of-a-kind dragonfly on the other.
2. I shave my naughty bits
3. The first man I ever fell in love with and had my first kiss with was my second cousin
4. I lost my virginity at fifteen to a man who was thirty (not the cousin from above, btw!)
5. If I didn’t live in a cold climate, I’d probably be a nudist-I HATE clothes.
6. I have never shoplifted, per say, but I did boost makeup from the drugstore where I worked while in high school
7. I could probably read at least a book a day, if allowed
8. I have a thing for men in uniform
9. In real life, I am EXTREMELY opinionated and bossy
10. I loathe my mother’s husband (the feeling is mutual)
11. My great-great grandfather was in the Confederate Army during the Civil War
12. My maternal grandfather came to America from Italy (through Ellis Island) when he was five
13. I have a genius IQ (for what that’s worth) but I rarely "apply" myself
14. I love to sing, but cannot sing in front of other people
15. I love toys and could play Barbie or Legos for hours (and not necessarily with kids, either)
16. I don’t do well with car maintenance and have ruined three engines because I never check the oil (in my defense, though, they were old cars, not brand new ones)
17. I am a terrible gossip; friends, enemies, whoever
18. I’ve always dreamed of writing a book, but I’ve never gotten it on paper. And if I did, it’d be a pulpy historical romance
19. I’m hopelessly old-fashioned and think that married women shouldn’t have to work outside the home—no feminist here.
20. I have a compulsion to organize other people, but have no motivation to do so for myself. I would die before I let any of you see the state of my house!

Date: 2004-04-20 12:10 pm (UTC)There is nothing particularly old-fashioned about thinking married women shouldn't have to work outside the home. There IS something old-fashioned about thinking they should not be allowed to or that it is wrong for them to do so :)

I have a genius IQ (for what that's worth) but I rarely "apply" myself (mine is 158)
I love toys and could play Barbie or Legos for hours (I collect action figures)
I've always dreamed of writing a book, but I've never gotten it on paper. And if I did, it'd be a pulpy historical romance (Medieval or Regency)
I'm hopelessly old-fashioned and think that married women shouldn’t have to work outside the home—no feminist here (I do stay home..and love every minute of it)
Gods, we need to get together, have coffee and chat.

Date: 2004-04-21 06:16 am (UTC)Oh, and my pulpy romance novel is set during the Civil War. I like Medieval, never much got into Regencies (I don't like the way the dialogue is written in them and the slang is weird)
