In the spirit of the new year, I've changed my layout. First change in two years! Although I still love my Billy/Dom that broksgurl717 made for me, I wanted something a little lighter. I think this one from thefulcrum fits that requirement splendidly. I did manage to save the code from the one Kari did, so if I feel like going back to it, I can.

I am so very, very glad it's Friday. Y'all don't even know, OMG. Sometimes I feel like I'm being pecked to death by unfriendly chickens.

I have a ton of stuff I need to get done this weekend--someone want to come over and keep me moving with the poky stick? Because it's cold outside and I really want to hibernate, but there's so much that needs doing.

Poke! Poke! There, now go do your work. Good luck on getting it done. I need to do lots too, but I have been on the couch with a migraine for two days. It's now just a regular headache, but I am getting a little stir crazy from being on the couch for that long. I actually want to get up and move around. I just can't do it quite yet. I would even face the cold, but that's because I have the best and warmest house shoes. The cold doesn't bother me too much with those.

Man, that SUCKS. I'm so, so glad that I don't get migraines. My mum does and they're horrible.

I laid around like a slug all weekend, have a bit of a cold. But I'm feeling better now.

Lying around when you are sick is a good thing. I am still learning to be kind to myself when I am sick. I will sleep when I have a migraine because there isn't another option. However, I still try to push myself at other times. It's one of my resolutions, to take better care of myself.

I'm quite well - on my last week of placement, only one day left now, thank God - commuting for more than an hour each way is getting really tiresome. I like it there (when it's not brain breakingly boring), but the travel is a pain in the ass.
