1. Reply to this post and I'll assign you a letter (if you want one.)
2. List (and upload, if you feel like it) 5 songs that start with that letter.
3. Post them to your journal with these instructions.

She gave me "O". "O"! Do y'all know how hard that is? But I persevered:

One More Shot-Kane

One Thing-Steve Carlson

One Step Up-Bruce Springsteen

On A Sea Of Fleur de Lis-Solas

On The Western Skyline-Bruce Hornsby

And the Five Questions Meme, from [livejournal.com profile] aire_blair

1) If you could have any other job than what you have now, what would it be?
Hands down, I would be a photographer. I haven't shot much lately and the digital revolution has left me sort of up in the air talent-wise, but I still adore photography.

Or a pastry chef. I've always thought that would be fun, but I wouldn't necessarily want it as a profession. That's what I'd do if I won the lottery and didn't have to work for a living any more!

2) What's been your favorite time in your life (up 'til now)?
From the time I was seven to the time I was fifteen, I spent every summer with my paternal grandmother in the southern part of West Virginia. Those summers were truly the best times I've ever experienced.

3) Five fictional characters you'd love to have your way with?
Wow, only five? That is way hard to narrow down. Erm.
Gomez Addams from the original Addams Family
Sheriff of Nottingham as portrayed by Alan Rickman
Dean Winchester-Supernatural
Remy McSwain-The Big Easy
Will Turner-Pirates of the Caribbean

4) What brought you to LJ-land to begin with?
Harry Potter. I was originally part of a Yahoo group centering around Professor Snape and original female characters. As the groups started to die out, people started talking about this new thing called LiveJournal. I guess originally, it was invite-only, like Gmail was. As soon as they dropped that, I got my LJ and the rest is history. I still have a couple people on my f-list from back then, but mostly we've gone our separate ways.

5) Name 5 actors/actresses that make you go weak in the knees.
Alan Rickman
Norman Reedus
Dominic Monaghan
David Tennant
Jason Isaacs

Plus-Minus for Monday:

-It is too hot here, OMG. It is not supposed to be over 90 degrees in June in WV. -Apparently the elastic in my underwear is shot and I'm wearing a dress today-you do the math. Fun times!
-I forgot my peanut butter so I have bread for lunch.

+Only eleven more days til I see my LizzieBunny, woot!
+It finally stopped raining!
+I have a ton of books in my TBR pile—it was starting to look a little thin.

Hee! I knew you could do it. :D And if you think O is hard, you should try E!

I am tired of the heat, Kim. I wish for it to go away now, plis. My head needs a break!

Also, I didn't know you were a Snape girl! Do you read Snarry?

Yes, you're right--"E" would be hard for me as well!

Yes, I'm a 70° girl--this 90 shit has got to GO. Also, it is not helping with the allergies so I sympathize with the headache. *strokes your temples*

Oh, I'm a Snape girl all the way. My preferred pairing is Snupin, but I've read some really good Snarry as well. I do have to admit (somewhat ashamedly) that I never read the last book. Because people told me what she did and I just don't know if I have the heart to read it. So I haven't read much new fic, as folks are mostly DH-compliant.

My absolute favorite old-school Snarry is "Parseltongue Tied". Have you read it?

Mmm, I have read that one! I'm a bit of a Snarry h0r, I must admit--I've read nearly every fic I've come across, good or bad. :D

It's funny, almost all of the Snarry fic post-DH has either resurrected Snape, or at the very least completely ignored the epilogue. :D I would say give it a try, because there's some great stuff out there. You can check out my delicious account for some of my favourites, if you like. Have you read Cambiare Podentes, and it's sequel, Madurare? I loved those two.

I WILL check out your delicious--I have it on my list (there at delicious), but I never think to look at it. *is dumb*

And no, I haven't read either of those. I will check them out though!

See, it's funny that you said that, because most of the Snarry I have seen has Snape as a ghost or a portrait.

Cambiare Podentes is a sexual slavery one, but with caring and commitment to balance it out. :D It's probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I loved it.

And here's another one I'm enjoying right now, the Fire Call series (http://fbowden.livejournal.com/2417.html#cutid1). She's just posted part 8. :D

Yeah, there are quite a few portrait!Snape fics out there, but I've also read quite a few where Snape Miraculously! Survived! Hee. Those are my favourites.

I'm not entirely sure what's in my delicious anymore. I hope there are some good ones there you haven't read. I keep forgetting to bookmarks fics once I've already read them!

sexual slavery one

Hee, I probably will like it cause I are a dirty girl.

When I first started reading Supernatural fic, I wasn't sure I would get into it, so I didn't bookmark hardly anything. And then I was like, dang it, WHERE was that story!
