Things wot I have learned this week:

I have the most amazing friends and I love each and every one of you! You make me laugh, you make me cry, but most of all you make me feel loved. Je t'adore, mon f-list!

And as a corollary to the above, there is an incredible core group of fandom (you know who you are) that I would be devastated to lose for any reason. Y'all make things bearable in an otherwise crazy world.

I still suck at anything graphics-related. BUT, thanks to my wonderful aire_blair who made the wee pics and the awesome laerwen who showed me where to enter the code (duh), I now have little custom icons by people's names. Woot! \o/

It is impossible to make edible chili when you are out of chili powder, no matter how much black pepper and cayenne you use. Blech.

I am officially sick of the snow. Enough, already.

I'm done with winter, Kim...only it doesn't seem done with me yet...there's more snow in my immediate future, even thought the sky is blue at the moment. Unfortunately, it's deceiving...as the temp is only about 20^oF out there.

Yes, it is threatening to snow here again as well. And as long as it doesn't get icy, I guess I can deal with that. But the snow is up to my knees at my house. /whining I mean, OK, my knees are pretty close to the ground, but still!!!

Yeah, it sure is fun to have like-minded folks to chat and laugh about stuff with. ;-)

I don't wanna work today--do I haveta? I made a spreadsheet, isn't that enough work?

And I ♥ you too, Kimmeh! I, too, am so glad you are part of my life. I am so happy to help you. :DDDD And I totally agree with that "core group" you're talking about. I really feel like we just have the BEST FANDOM EVER. We are so unified in how we stick together and stick up for each other. I think it helps that we're all veteran LJers, too. We "know" how things are, so we make things work like a well-oiled machine and we have a BLAST doing it. Can you imagine if we were ever all put in the same room?! OMG. *GLEE*

Things are... better. I have to say, they're better. I put in for my leave of absence from school yesterday, and I know in my heart I've done the right thing. I feel happy today. Even though it's cold, the sun is shining and I am in a very good mood. :D

I hear you about the snow, though. I'm sure it's not over yet, either. Meh!

My condolences on the chili. Bleh! :\

I kept looking in the cabinet, thinking 'WTF? where's the chili powder?' and of course I had already mixed the other stuff together. I shall make another attempt this weekend, as it is still perfect chili weather here.
