In the interest of faffing about instead of working, a meme:
This past Saturday, I had a wonderful visit with Beth (aka![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
closet_hobbit) who was in Pittsburgh visiting her family for the holidays. Since PGH is only about an hour and a half north of me, we were able to get together. We had a huge lunch at an Italian place called Armstrong's, then met up with her mom, sis, aunt, and nephew so I could meet them as well. Then we went to Circuit City for her to spend her gift card. If either of us had a brain, we would have made it to the Heinz Museum as well. But we didn't think about it until it was too late. Maybe next time! We had a very light dinner and then I came back home. She wants everyone to know she hasn't killed her dad just yet, but it's apparently been a close thing!
Also, I have been completely remiss in thanking people for their beautiful cards. I LOVE going to the mailbox and having good mail every single day in the month of December. So thanks, all of you (grey_wonderer, sassywitch, strawberryelfsp, legomyarrow, giddy_london, babybrothalova, aire_blair [with peanut butter balls], pecos, londinensa, buckle_berry, pippinmctaggart, broksgurl717, wiccarowan, fluttering_by, bite_me_luv, sweetzattack, lizziebunny2828, telpethoron, waqaychay[with added porn!], and a stealth card from, I believe, apple_pi. And if I left anyone off, it's because I have no brain power left today, not because I didn't appreciate the card!
And just because I can, let me say here how very much I love and adore every single one of you and wish you the absolute best in 2008.
