Friday the 13th
Ok, everyone who has come into the office this morning has made a comment about what day it is. Let's move on, please. It is kinda funny though, the superstitions that people have. I personally am very fond of the number 13, so it doesn't bother me.
Long weekend, whoo hoo! Gotta love those government office holidays. Played a joke on the Mayor yesterday and hung up a sign on the door saying we were off today for Valentine's. He just laughed and said "oh, you mean you DON'T have the day off?" He has a regular job too and never gets the days off that we do in the office.
New washer and stove are being delivered tomorrow! I'm so excited--I've never owned any NEW appliances; I've always had used ones. Of course, I have to scrub the floors where they go--I don't think the person I bought the house from ever moved either of hers to even sweep. Dust bunnies? Try dust DRAGONS!
